Scotland out of the UK?

I hope Nicola Sturgeon will be as good as her word, and take Scotland out of the United Kingdom. Then, as an independent state, she can ask to join the European Union. Scotland will be received with open arms. Also we, the EU, should be happy to have Scotland in, if only to keep a better equilibrium of the solid EU backers as against the Eastern European present day opportunist politicians. Should our Ursula make that Europe of two speeds I earlier wrote about here, Scotland would surely join the core group. And that would give a good morale boost to the whole idea of the EU.
