To stop or not to stop Beijing.
It is high time a few well known elements about Beijing be put together for an overall picture. We know Beijing gets incredibly rich with a yearly inflow of about 400 billion Dollar equivalent, our money; we know that the Beijing dictatorship is as inhuman as was the Nazi regime in Germany under Hitler, incredibly cruel, without respect for human life, killing without compunction, caring even less about human rights and free speech; we also know that with the above money Beijing is buying, lending and corrupting all around the world, is taking over everywhere, already influencing government decisions here and there in countries in the West.
When put together, these elements should already have made us ask "Can we stop Beijing and if so, how, what are the consequences, what are the advantages, what the disadvantages, how difficult will it be to do and how do compare the results of action and inaction?". These questions urgently need to be treated, I feel.
I am therefore striving to get the subject "Should we stop Beijing or not?" on the agenda of good thinktanks before they'll all become too afraid of Beijing retaliation to do so. Conferences must be organised, exchange of opinions is long overdue, the subject should get in the papers too.
My book "Is China Taking Over?" is a good first read. The NYT has excellent articles too.
Good, professional suggestions are welcome. My email is edouard.prisse@davennes.eu.
