Trump’s peace plan for the Ukraine is wrong

 Donald Trump is not changing the basic thought he acted upon since meeting the Russian president in Alaska, which is that giving in to Putin will yield acceptable peace results, which of course it will not.  President Trump still does not understand that the only course of action, as reaction to Putin’s aggressive invasion, for the coming two years, is to fight back against Russia with the total industrial strength the West can muster, and make Putin fail at his game, full stop. This means Trump has a shortage of common sense that may well balance the Ukraine into disaster.
Zelensky’s problem is now to walk the almost inexistent tight rope of not accepting this American proposal while still not losing American help with weapons.
Europe must stand behind Kiev with all the growing might it cam muster, whilke mking it clear that any nuclear weapon usage by Putin woil be met with our nuclear retaliation. As using nuclear is mutual destruction, that will make Putin refrain form usinghis nuclear power.

The four core demands by Trump

-        of giving the Donbass region to Russia, which would mean accepting the invasion by Putin as having an acceptable reason

-              of accepting that Ukrainian military forces be cut by 60%, which flows from the same erroneous thinking that made Trump demand, in the Gaza peace effort, that Hamas disarm. A major lack of logical thinking!

-              Of the Ukraine never to become member of a group like NATO or  the European Union

Are all quite unacceptable of course.”
